I would just suggest you change from Cruz stopped the amnesty bill in Senate to that he helped to stop it in the House. It was passed in the Senate, but his amendments exposed it as amnesty. When it got to the House, he walked over to the House to meet with many of the members and he called on the people to call their representatives which is what stopped it in the House.
